ABOUT MR. DRAPER
Brad Draper is a Building Envelope Consultant since 1988, working with K-12 Educational Facilities, Institutions of Higher Education, Industrial and Municipalities throughout the southern United States.
Mr. Draper specializes in and is knowledgeable of all aspects of commercial low slope roofing, steep slope roofing, and waterproofing and building envelope systems. He has progressively proven skills in evaluating roofing and waterproofing systems as well as specializing in working with architectural firms providing plans, details, and specifications for the building envelope.
During his career, Mr. Draper worked as a Building Envelope Consultant for several major manufacturers, distributors and contracting firms through the Southern United States and has been involved with design and evaluation services. He has performed Building Envelope surveys and analysis to assist in establishing needs for clients in public and private sectors. Included as part of the analysis process, Mr. Draper provides written reports and documentation for budgeting, recommendations of appropriate applicable roof systems, specifications, daily progress reports for projects during construction, and assists in close-out documents and reports for the client’s projects. Mr. Draper conducts pre-bid or pre-proposal meetings to ensure the work to be performed is understood by the contractors prior to bidding and he assists with bid openings and provides bid analysis and recommendations of qualified contractors to the client.
Mr. Draper currently assists design professionals with preparation of their documents by reviewing their building envelopes, which includes review of the exterior elevations, wall sections, roof plans and unusual building transitions, to ensure a more watertight and sustainable facility.
